Year after year, the latest edition of Clue, Monopoly, Scrabble, Scene It, Trivial Pursuit, and Risk hit the shelves of the various retailers. Sure, some of these games are sufferable (Clue and Risk), others are great for the right kind of person (Scrabble), and still others are just down right travesties (e.g. Monopoly, Sorry). The toy giants are so myopic and xenophobic that they don't realize there are great games out there: games that make you think, games that make you socialize, games that are not BORING.
I will try to profile a new game each week.
